Battle For Fillydelphia

Before the war, battle lines were drawn and borders were made. Towns and cities that were once peacful were forced to join sides. Some of these cities gave into enemy forces without conflict, or they were seiged for so long they gave up. There were towns however, that were proud of their beleifs and were determined to fight to the last pony. These towns were not taken so easily.
Fillydelphia: 30 days after Equestria's seperation
Fillydelphia was originally under Rainbow Dash's control. She had been using it as a port city to beaf up her army for the rest of the war, however Rarity wanted that too. She already had Baltimare, but she felt that having Rainbow Dash so close to one of her cities was a major risk sje couldn't take. The fighting between the cities had been going on for weeks. There was a thin stretch of land between them that became known as "Bone Run" because of all the corpses from battles. One of these cites had to fall to soemone to stop the massive fighting, Rarity intended on making sure she took one.
Rainbow Dahs was so focussed on the fighting in "Bone Run" She didn't have time to worry about Baltimare itself. rarity took the opertunety and doubleed the fighting strength of the city. She knew she could not go in by water, for she would be discovered by Rainbow Dash's trade boats. The only way into Fillydelphia was through "Bone Run". Rarity's forces would have to fight across the few miles between cites, this was going to be bloody.
A month after rarity's forces were all hiden in Baltimare, they day had come. They assembled at the city gates and opened the doors. They began to march out from the city. They stepped over the bodies of thousands of their fallen comrads. Rainbow Dash saw the army and knew she could not take them in the feilds outside of her city. She ordered her troops behind the walls and then began to bombard Rarity's forces with catapolt fire. Most of the soldiers in front died before they reached the city.
When the city was reached the doors were quickly burnt open Rarity's forces stormed in. They went from house to house, and in almost all of them were Rainbow Dash's soldiers. They would leap and attack with little notice. Rarity's army dealed with this brutal kind of warfare all through the town. They finally made it to the center of the town and claimed it. Rarity's army lost 50 percent of its soldiers or even more on that day. When Rarity was later asked about her victory she simply asked,
"What Victory?" She saw the massive loss of life as a huge defeat and her army tooks almost a whole year to recover.
