The Unicron Range Conflicts

Before the war, battle lines were drawn and borders were made. Towns and cities that were once peacful were forced to join sides. Some of these cities gave into enemy forces without conflict, or they were seiged for so long they gave up. There were towns however, that were proud of their beleifs and were determined to fight to the last pony. These towns were not taken so easily.
Uniorn Range: 15 days after Equestria's seperation
Rainbow Dash had her army assembled. She knew she had to gather as much land as possible before Rarity could beat her to it. She had heard rumors that Rarity was held up in Appleloosa, so Rainbow Dash thought she could take control unuposed. She marched her soldiers out to the Unicron Range, in hopes of establishing Pegasie bases in the high mountains. She was sorly mistaken.
When Rainbow Dash's forces arrived in the mountains they found that they had to split up and take seperate paths. Rainbow Dash had no idea that there were unicron rebels hidden in these mountains. They had been undiscovered tribes for years, until the war. They weren't going to let Rainbow Dash take their land without a fight. They set up multiple ambush points and killed many soldeirs in small attacks. Lazer beams would appear to fly from out of the mountains and then the Unicrons would power down there horns and run. They would not leave trace.
These attacks held up Rainbow Dash's forces for some time. She originaly thought that the unicrons were with Rarity, however she then learned from prisoners that they were a seperate group. Rainbow Dash began to go from camp to camp and gather as much information on the unicrons villages as she could. The prisoners would spill the beans and Rainbow Dash set out to burn as many towns as possible. She went from small village to small village burning and killing everything. She knew the unicorns would be angered by this.
Rainbow Dash had been correct. The unicorns attacked in larger numbers now. More of them could not get away as fast and the unicorns began to slowly loose their numbers. The unicrons were not a foolish race and after many weeks of bloodshed they gave into Rainbow Dash's rule. The mountains finally fell and the pegasie bases were set up a few days later.
