The Great Vanhoover Sinking

Before the war, battle lines were drawn and borders were made. Towns and cities that were once peacful were forced to join sides. Some of these cities gave into enemy forces without conflict, or they were seiged for so long they gave up. There were towns however, that were proud of their beleifs and were determined to fight to the last pony. These towns were not taken so easily.
Vanhoover: 25 days after Equestria's seperation
The city of Vanhoover was a major coastal city at the time. There were many of biusnesses and shipping lains going in and out of it. Rainbow Dash and Rarity both realized its importance, and Rainbow Dash was the first to take it, or so she thought. She had her soldies set of gaurd posts and checkpoints and the area was secure for its first few days of ocupation. Then the attacks started.
The attacks atarted out as small riots that left civilian deaths and daamge to the town, however zero military was lost. These riots grew in size ervy time and soon the rioters became armed! The riots became smaller cbattled in the streets and soon the town was consumed in its own little private war! Rainbow Dash was puzzled by how the rioters had not been eradicated yet. She looked into the problem and sent in numerouse stealth teams. They came back with grim news. They had seen Rarity's ships coming in at night and dropping off soldiers disguised as civilians! They were also dropping off weapons! Rainbow Dash was enraged by the news, she knew she had to take care of her ports and those ships, so she hatched a plan.
One night when Rarity's ships came in, Rainbow Dash had forces concealed on shore. The ports had been cleared out earlier and anyone suspected of aiding Rarity was killed. The ships had no way of knowing this prior to their arrival. The ships landed and they were confused, but then Rainbow Dash attacked. Herforces sprang out from the city and trapped the arriving soldeirs. They were outnumbered and retreated back into their boats. The boats tried to get back out to open see, but Rainbow Dash had her navy move in while the battle on shore was happening. The ships were caught between the two forces. They were pelted with arrows. They were burned when pegasie dropped flaming barrels into them. None of the ships on that day made it out, and they all rest at the bottom of the Vanhoover harbor along with their crews.
The riots and fights stopped after that. Rarity did not dare move her troops n either. The port was also put under strict watch and limitations. The city of Vanhoover will never be the same after that night, in terms of shipping and the economy.
