PONY SPECIES GUIDE

Pegasus ponies, or Pegasi, are ponies characterized by their wings and their ability to fly, walk on clouds, and control the weather. Pegasi demonstrate great speed and agility in the air. Pegasi naturally walk, sit, and lay on clouds, but unicorns and Earth ponies cannot do so.

Unicorn ponies are characterized by their horns and their ability to perform magic. As the name suggests, all unicorns have a long horn protruding from their forehead which glows when their magical powers are used. Although they are associated with their magic, a unicorn's horn is strong and sharp enough to have mundane uses.

Earth ponies posses a diverse range of talents and capabilities. One recurring trait, however, is their physical prowess. Physically very powerful, Earth ponies are capable of performing incredible feats of strength with little or no visible strain, and enjoy long-lasting stamina as well. Earth ponies have been seen displaying an excellent sense of balance, stacking and coordinating several objects on top of one another without difficulty.

Alicorns are pony characters who have both a unicorn horn and Pegasus wings and possess the magical powers that unicorns have.

Zecora is a female Zebra who resides in a hut in the Everfree Forest. She is believed to be an evil sorceress, but later becomes friends with the ponies and frequently helps them out with her knowledge of magical ailments. She speaks with a strong African-esque accent, forming rhyming couplets with all her sentences.

Spike was a purple and green baby dragon. He was Twilight Sparkle's best friend and number one assistant before she died. He has the ability to magically deliver scrolls to anyone, anywhere with his green fire-breath. Spike is now all grown up and he helps guard Queen Rarity's Empire. You can see him fly around Canterlot frequently.
